Urban Sound Ecology is a community driven initiative to create an open sound map of Toronto, Vancouver and expand into other Canadian cities in the future. The site employs a custom OpenLayers and OpenStreetMap workflow to trace walks through the city and upload, archive and stream the associated audio recordings.
